Murray's large-scale paintings, abstract yet lyrical, breathing with space yet full of tension and flux, are at once beautiful in the best traditional sense of the term but also very contemporary and fresh. Her works are spontaneous and at the same time speaking for calm order. In addition to the paintings, she has also create environmental sculptures from transparent, translucent. and opaque materials, plus lights, giving us mysterious worlds of story-like puzzlement.
